I was initially perplexed about how to use it - especially how to pay the other party via facebook or email or mobile. But I had to use it to find out. Would be nice if there was a mini-case study or scenario to explain to us in the first place how it all worked. Then, I would feel more confident in using it.

the ease of payments. just like that. It also replaces netbank in a way on the mobile app.
It'll be nice to improve ...
Make the case cheaper and heaps of people will buy and use the app as a swipe and go payment system.

CommBank Kaching is innovative and user friendly and allows for Commbank customers to avoid the hassle and frustration of going into a branch or worrying about having to do internet banking via a computer. With the ease of entering a pin number of your choice, within a second all your accounts are available for viewing and maintenance whether it be paying bills via BPay or transferring funds to friends via their accounts or Facebook and SMS!

the fact that it was so easy to use. You don't need an instruction manual to navigate around the site and it is self explanatory. The layout is simple, clean and customer friendly.

being able to input new account details for a person to person transaction. I found I had to transfer funds to someone who didn't have the app and who's bank details I didn't have saved in my address book so I had no choice but to log onto a computer to process the transaction.

I thought the app was fantastic! It's very easy to use, with or without the iCarte case. I love being able to quickly send money to my other accounts or my friends via social networking.

The option to keep the app open after looking my phone. Occasionally I'd have to lock it for a few seconds while using Kaching, and had to do everything over again.

I have found the Kaching app very easy to use and have used it to make sms, email and facebook payments. I have also used it on a general day to day basis to check my account balance and to make bpay payments for some of my bills.

the ease of use and the ability to make a payment to someone at the exact moment the situation arises that you owe money. I would tend to forget for a day or two (or more) if I waited until I got home and did it on the computer instead.
It'll be nice to improve ...
having the authorisation code automatically sent to the person the payment was made to instead of having to copy it and paste it in an email or sms to them. Just would be one less step and make an easy process even easier.

If your a CBA customer there isn't a easier and more simple weight to do your banking on the go. Even if your mates don't "Kaching" you can always send any cash for drinks via Facebook.

I've loved using CommBank Kaching! The interface is much more user friendly than the original CommBank app and it's very fast. It makes making payments so simple as it saves the process of getting onto Netbank to add a new account, which was always a disadvantage of the original app.

having a function to send the required details to the person receiving funds. Currently, I take a photo of the confirmation page and mms it to the recipient. If the app had a function to send this information, that would make it a little simpler.

Easy app to use. But I would not use to transfer money to facebook or someone's mobile phone as it is difficult to receive and if the user does not get a notification then the money sits in no-mans-land.

too much authentication - need to reduce the burden or else people won't use it. Remove the onus on the transferee to arrange the transferor to call the bank if there is a problem. Which transferor is going to do that!

i was apprehensive about security with the transfers but soon learned security was never an issue.overall the Kaching app is really good, and i see myself using it alot in the future

my only complaint is the fact that you cannot add account via the app, and they must be frst added online.

Kaching is a great, forward thinking app which makes personal banking easy. I'd recommend the app to anyone with a CommBank account. There are a few improvements that could be made in the future, such as including international money transfers and making the iCarte more affordable. However I love the simple design and fact you can sign in easily with a PIN rather than a password. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 stars!

Kaching has been a great addition to my everyday banking. I have moved 90% of all my internet banking to my phone!
I particularly like ...
it has all the functionality of online banking but its on your phone, so you can transfer/ check your balance wherever you are
It'll be nice to improve ...
the location of ATMs has let me down once, im not sure if it wasnt up to date, or whether i couldnt find it properly...

It's really a great and exciting concept, and I believe CBA can make it even better. The iCarte was a bit expensive and isn't compatible with my current case.
