The Panasonic VIErA Full-HD 3D Neo Plasma TV is quite simply one of the best quality Plasma TV's that I've seen. The 3D experience is very realistic. Panasonic go to great lengths to explain the superiority of Plasma over LCD for 3D television and this is borne out in the viewing experience as there seemed to be no evidence of crosstalk or ghosting. The colours seem vibrant and realistic. The 2D viewing is also first class. The TV has a good range of Internet connectivity features with YouTube and Skype but could do with more catch-up TV (ie ABC iView). Surprisingly, Panasonic have also dealt with one of the long term shortcomings of Plasma - the power consumption with the new series earning a 4 Star energy rating. The only real negatives are the high price (compared to the Samsung Plasma) and the fact that you only get one set of glasses (although a currently advertised promo does rectify this).
I PARTICULARLY LIKE... its outstanding image quality in both 2D and 3D.
IT'LL BE NICE TO IMPROVE... its value for money as its $800 more expensive than the equivalent Samsung (when comparing 50" models) and only includes one set of glasses and the glasses are a rather expensive $199 each.
I'VE RECOMMENDED IT TO... early adopters who simply must have the latest device regardless of price.
